Terms of use

Last updated 27 August 2026. These terms cover this website and the Village Account waitlist. They do not yet cover live gift checkout, because that product is not open.

Who we are

Takes A Village Financial Inc. (“Takes A Village,” “we”) operates takesavillage.io from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are a financial technology company, not a bank. Payday Audit is a separate product from the same company, with its own terms at paydayaudit.app.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist asks us to consider you for a later Village Account. It is not an offer of an account, not a promise of a launch date, and not a campaign. We may write, or we may not, and we may start with a small group.

What you tell us

You agree that the information you submit is yours to share and is reasonably accurate. Do not submit someone else's personal information without a reason to do so (for example, naming your own child on a waitlist you control).

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to harass, impersonate, scrape at a harmful volume, probe security, or submit unlawful content. We may ignore or delete waitlist entries that look automated, abusive, or fake.

When campaigns exist

Gift collection, payouts, refunds, and organizer verification will have additional terms before anyone can receive money. Until then, nothing on this site is an invitation to send us or anyone else funds through Takes A Village.

Limitation

The site is provided as-is for information and waitlist collection. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this website.
